GLP-1.sucks is an independent publication about what treatment is like to go through. Not what a medicine does — there are better-qualified places for that — but what surrounds it: the appointment that sets the year, the invoice that arrives in month four, the stretch in the middle where nothing moves and nobody warned you it would.
What we cover
The reporting sits in the gap between a clinical explanation and a lived one. Most healthcare writing addresses one or the other. The questions people actually arrive with — what does this cost at the highest dose, who do I contact in week three, is this a refusal about me or a shortage — fall between the two and get answered by nobody.
Our editorial approach
Three rules govern everything here. We describe experience rather than prescribe action. We attribute figures or we leave them out. And we mark invented material as invented, everywhere it appears, in the same typeface as the rest of the page rather than in a footnote nobody reads.
That last rule is the reason this site looks the way it does. A publication built from illustrative examples has an obligation to make that legible at a glance, so the marker became part of the design rather than an apology attached to it.
What we are not
We are not a clinic, a hospital, a provider, a pharmacy or a medical authority. Nobody here is your clinician, nobody here has seen your notes, and nothing published here is capable of accounting for your circumstances. We have no view on whether any treatment is right for you, and any page that appeared to offer one would be a page we had written badly.

This build is a design prototype. Every article, patient, quotation, byline and figure was written for it and is fictional. Replace all of it before publishing anything.
